This Privacy Policy describes how Datafacta ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services.
When you join the waitlist or contact us, we collect the email address and (if provided) name and topic interest you submit. When you eventually subscribe (after launch), we collect billing information through our payment processor (Stripe). We don't store full credit card numbers on our servers.
Like most websites, we automatically log basic technical information when you visit — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is used for security and to understand how the site is used.
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with third parties for marketing. We don't use it for cross-site tracking.
If you join the waitlist, you'll get an email when Datafacta launches and occasional product updates. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe. We don't send promotional emails to unsubscribed addresses.
We use minimal cookies — only what's required to make the site work and to count visits. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (like Plausible or similar) that doesn't track individual users across sites. We don't use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all traffic. Passwords (when subscriptions launch) will be hashed using bcrypt. Database backups are encrypted at rest.
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time. Email us through the contact form. We respond within 30 days.
Datafacta is not intended for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If we change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date and notify waitlist subscribers by email of material changes.
